What we install
Installation work spans everything from a single fixture to a new bathroom.
- Kitchen and bathroom sinks, faucets and drains.
- Toilets, bidets and shower and tub fixtures.
- Laundry hookups and utility sinks.
- Water heaters, which have their own pages for tank and tankless units.
- Garbage disposals and dishwasher connections.
- New hose bibs and outdoor water lines.
- Water softener and filtration connections.
See water heater installation and garbage disposal installation for those fixtures.
Remodels, additions and accessory dwellings
A remodel is the cheapest time to fix plumbing, because walls are already open. We look at the existing supply and drain lines, test pressure and flag anything that should be replaced before the new finishes go in.
Additions and accessory dwellings need new water and sewer connections. Depth, routing, slope and permits all matter, and we explain them before work begins.
Rough-in and finish: how the work is staged
New plumbing is installed in two stages.
- Rough-in.Supply and drain lines are routed through the framing, set at the right height and pressure tested before walls close.
- Inspection.Where a permit is required, the inspector checks the rough-in.
- Finish. After walls, floors and cabinets are in, fixtures are set, connected and tested.
- Final. We run water through every fixture, check for leaks and show you the shutoffs.
Plan your plumbing project
Call us with the scope, the address and your timeline. We will explain what the plumbing will involve.
Call (480) 741-9332New construction support
Builders and owner-builders in Florence and Pinal County ask us to handle the plumbing portion of a project, from underground rough-in to trim-out. Tell us the plan set and the schedule, and we coordinate with the other trades.
Gas line safety and inspection
Gas work is a safety-first topic. If you smell gas, leave the building immediately, and call the gas utility or 911 before you call a plumber. Do not turn on lights, appliances or phones inside the building.
For planned work, such as a new line for a range, dryer, water heater or outdoor kitchen, we explain what is involved and test the line for leaks. We never promise a response time for a gas leak, because the right first call is the gas utility.
Gas line repair and installation as its own service is outside the pages on this site, so tell us what you need and we will say plainly whether we handle it.
Showers, tubs and bathrooms
A shower or tub install means a valve, a drain, a trap and waterproofing around them. The rough-in height of the valve and the drain location decide what fixtures fit. We set the valve in the wall, test the drain and leave the surround to your tile or panel installer.
What plumbing installation costs and what moves the price
You get a written price before work starts.
A bathroom with a shower costs more than a single sink.
Slab, second-floor and long-run installs are more work.
Old pipe may need to be replaced to connect safely.
Many jobs require them, so ask the department that covers your address.
Fixtures you buy yourself affect the price differently from ones we supply.
Want your real number? Call (480) 741-9332 and describe the project.
Code note: rough-in, vents and inspection
New plumbing follows the plumbing code adopted where you build. The UPC and IPC set fixture spacing, venting and drain sizing, and inspectors check rough-in before walls close. Ask the building department about your project.
